Kowanyama Aboriginal Shire Council is one of the largest communities on the Cape York Peninsula serving a community of more than 1,200 residents and an area of approximately 4,120 square km’s.
Reporting to the Executive Manager Roads, Infrastructure and Essential Services, this position plays a key role in managing the Council’s built infrastructure and building services. The successful candidate will plan, coordinate, supervise and deliver quality and timely building services and building projects and work closely with a range of stakeholders to achieve high-quality outcomes.
The Manager will lead a team of 7 and oversee an annual expenditure budget of $5 million capital and $750K operational budget in the delivery of building construction and maintenance works in the Kowanyama Community.
