· Lead corporate services across finance, IT and governance in a pivotal Executive role
· Base: $187 - $219k + super + subsidised housing and utilities + vehicle

The Shire of East Pilbara is seeking an experienced and motivated professional for the role of Director Corporate Services. As a key member of the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), this position will play a critical role in leading the Shire’s financial and corporate operations, supporting strategic initiatives and driving efficiencies aligned with community goals.
This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic leader to enhance business excellence while overseeing finance, IT and records management. The successful candidate will champion digital transformation projects, manage a diverse team and work closely with the CEO to deliver sustainable, community-focused outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide strategic leadership in finance, records management, IT and corporate governance.
Drive digital transformation initiatives and ensure seamless integration of new systems.
Foster a culture of accountability, transparency and high performance within the corporate services team.
Engage effectively with council members, government agencies and community stakeholders.
Oversee compliance with local government regulations and implement proactive risk management.
Ideal Candidate:
The Shire of East Pilbara seeks a leader with strong corporate services and financial management experience, ideally within local government. The ideal candidate will have excellent stakeholder engagement skills, be a supportive mentor to their team and have a strategic vision for long-term impact.
Qualifications and Experience:
Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Business or Commerce.
Demonstrated senior leadership experience, preferably in local government.
Proven expertise in financial management, strategic planning and digital transformation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on effective governance.
